When you purchase footage from SoHo Stock Video we ask for an e-mail address. This is so we can send login details to you and tie your purchase to a point of contact.
We may e-mail you regarding issues with your account. When you browse our marketing pages we may log basic information via Google Analytics, all of which is de-identified. When you submit support requests we may keep your requests for as long as we deem necessary to see that the issue is resolved.
We will never share your information, except possibly in the following circumstance:
The website hosting site, advertisers and affiliates may collect non-personal user information (like your IP address, browser preference, any website you found us through, your operating system, your internet service provider, any pages you visit on the site as well as any search terms you use, and how long you stay).
We will advertise using third-party companies to show you ads for things that may interest you.
We will not give your data to law enforcement without a court order requiring us to do so. We will notify you in such a case unless we are legally required not to do so.
We will only ever access your account if you request us to or to help you out with a problem.
If you cancel your account, your data will remain on our servers for no more than 30 days before being removed completely.
Choose the license which best describes you and what you intend to use the footage for. Is it going to be distributed professionally? Is it going to be sold? Are you a student using it for a student project?
